March 20th was the beginning of spring 2013. I really like the change of seasons, especially the ones that signify warmer weather is on the way. Spring is also a time of fresh starts, new beginnings, growth. It puts the cold and often darker days of winter in the rear view mirror, days get longer and people overall seem happier.
Back to the new beginning, fresh start thing. This really is a great time to start something new and fresh. Nowhere is it written that it has to be a big life change... uprooting the family... changing jobs or careers or partners it's just a time for change. It does not have to be overwhelming or seemingly impossible. It is a time to do small things that may make life more enjoyable. Spring clean-up for example... just decluttering one area of your life, not your entire life.
Spring is about change and growth, the trees are starting to show life, tulips are breaking the ground, the street sweepers are out in full force cleaning up the city. Take some time and think about one small area that you can change for the better, perhaps something your can learn or get some personal growth from. We all know that an object in motion tends to stay in motion and an object at rest tends to stay at rest. By simple getting your self in motion, in one direction towards a small change you will create momentum than will allow you stay in motion. By simply starting to move in the direction that you want, one small change, you create events and opportunities that will unfold and orchestrate more change... perhaps bigger change.
Make this Spring your springboard to small and eventually life change, but just start small. It's easier that way and the rest will fall into place.
