There is a lot of buzz in business right now over Search engine optimization (SEO). Many businesses are spending hundreds even thousands of dollars every month with companies promising to get them to the top of the Internet list when potential customers go to the web to look them up. To me this seems like a waste of money as I believe it would be much better to have potential customers search for you specifically by name than search your category or genre and have you pop up with all your other competitors. It seems to me that is not the most effective use of resources.

It's similar to Universal Laws. And I will call it GSO , Goal Searching Optimization. You can have a general idea of what you want and put it out to the Universe to attract it to your life. But chances are unless your are very specific you are going to see a lot of things come your way that you don't want. If you do not have a clear picture of your ideal partner, you will likely kiss a lot frogs before the ideal partner shows up in your search. It's similar to doing a search on the Internet if you do a search for your favorites shoe store and type in shoe stores, you will waste a lot of time looking at all the other stores that pop up in your window than if you type in the name and location of your favorite store.

Some people I coach tell me they don't know what they want, this is a difficult situation because it's necessary to have a clear vision of your search. If you focus on all the things you don't want in an ideal partner that is what will be showing up in the people that enter your life. Like the Internet.. type in "No Football" and see what shows up... chances are something to do with football. I you put on your list of an ideal partner no couch potato, i'm pretty sure I know what will show up. Clarify your goal and put it out there and you will start to attract exactly what you want. Optimize your search with GSO.

Please pass this on to your entire social circle Facebook, twitter and g+

Thanks Kenn
