Cornhole Lesson

Summer season is winding down, but it's not over yet. This past long weekend was a great one for me, friends and family came over we had a few beverages and some great food from the BBQ. And we played Cornhole. For those of you unfamliar with the game cornhole ( I didn't make up the name, that's what it's called) It's a summer backyard game with a 4 foot by 2 foot board with a 4 inch hole and your toss bean bags trying to get them in the hole. 1 Point for landing on the board, 3 points for getting in the hole. The one with the most points at the end wins of course.

Here's the thing, The boards are placed at a certain distance apart and each person gets four bean bags to try and get them in the hole. If the first one doesn't go in, you make adjustments.... maybe throw a little lighter or harder, a little more to the left or right. You can see the result of your first attempt and make adjustments so your next attempt is closer or perhaps even hits the target and goes in the hole. If you don't get it in the hole on your second attempt you can make further adjustments... maybe toss a little lighter or harder etc. Eventually with enough attempts you are bound to find success.

There is however something else you can do.... Simply move closer to the target... The closer you get the easier it is to find success.

My point here is it's important to look at your results and make adjustments to what you are doing in order to find success. Also understand that the closer you get to your target or goal the easier it is to find success. Practice, Practice , Practice and notice how close you are getting to realizing your ideal life.
